This poster was originally made to support Ai Weiwei when Weiwei was detained in 2011.  At that time he was just about to go to London for his art education at Central Saint Martins. He showed Weiwei the poster after the detainment. Weiwei liked it and Wu got an internship opportunity at Weiwei’s studio. After graduate, he came back to China to work at Ai Weiwei Studio as an assistant for a year. He also used the poster to support Weiwei when Weiwei was erased from Shows in Shanghai and UCCA.

Now he is working on Ai Can’t Be Here. He took some of his posters to San Francisco when he went to setup Weiwei’s exhibition @Large at Alcatraz. In November 2014, he made some T-shirts to sell online in China. His online store was banned 4 days after the sell started.

You can download the A3 size pdf of the poster and print your own.
